for me,as my personal opinion,and everyone else can have their fun too,like rping in limsa for 3 months straight while they revel in the content drought, i found ff14 to be a game about the story,so i quit as soon as the content dried up, which conveniently was very soon after i finished story content, it surely erased all my will to play the game further and buy a house,when i heard it gets demolished after 45 days,and that's not my vibe

you can get all the lore(even the one from the books) on nobbel's channel
it may help you to place the books in the correct order of when they happened
even though they have no ties to each other since they're all separated stories

Not far away there's place where I can buy english manga, they might not have everything but it has good selection and been getting from there some series I'd like to get into. I'm pretty sure there's also WoW books, saw even something Dark Souls related but wasn't sure if to get.
