what i do is put the abilities on the action bars and then go to keybinds and put modifiers on them like shift and ctrl etc. cuz the actionbar is numbered from 1 to = on the keyboard they will just fit with the mouse 12 buttons if the mouse is set to numbers not numpad

trust me... you will play them and quickly return to melee. after so much time of playing melee it will be very hard to change your mind set on how to play. i am mainly melee too, but i have had in legion all classes at max lvl... did not end up going back to the ranged ones cuz the - need to run away insted of towards the target - style of play difference just got annoying cuz so used to melee style.
