Let's Go works for one reason, and it is how it was announced, never as a main thing but just an extra that wanted to carry on the Go mechanic and experiment with it more, yes, they did remove the pokemon fights and replaced them with the catch up thing, but honestly, neither I or the people I have lend up the game has said that "it doesnt work". I played the game as well and yes, i do miss the pokemon fight mechanic, but I also realize that it is not important in the Go Spinoffs. Do you get me? I reserve the hype of fights for main games of pokemon, or remakes if thats so.
