@frosty tundra i have everything for this server muted because i dont have time for 5 thousand notifications a day. and, IIRC, you have a news chanel to make sure everoyne sees stuff (who has interest in it, and it is very nice btw). am i wrong? if any user had posted, say, guild recruitment in the transmog chanel, how would staff respond? i just believe that what is good enough for one is good enough for all, staff or not.

(delayed response due to meeting, lol) It's a matter of perspective really, we wanted people to be "extra" aware of a collaborate post we made and it made sense to just stick that under a message I sent that pinged everyone so they have a 2nd chance to see it. Sure, it's off-topic for that channel, but it was, imo, better than pinging everyone a second time (which was considered).
I think it's a small ask to accept this infrequent infraction, especially considering the frequency in which we're hosting giveaways and the ease in which you, and everyone, are able to participate in those without really contributing anything. That said, it's easy to mute notifications for that channel as well (but allow here/everyone and mentions through so this random little off-topic message wouldn't inconvenience you).

I'm biased. I don't like Diablo 3. I don't like what the greater rifting system did. I have a lot of issues with how scaling was handled, I hated how sets killed almost all build diversity and the only exploration really allowed was in the way of a ring set released way later that required very rare pieces of loot
I'm fairly sure Diablo 2 has more players in it, today, than Diablo 3. And I'm hopeful that diablo 4 will bring back some of that charm
I had more direct issues with it as well, like I don't like how little of the screen you can see and I dislike the binary either "way too fast" or really bad movement options that was never really solved

oh damn, new blizzard launcher version beta is good. it has giphy support and mention support. theyre catching up with discord fast. They also updated the news section to include all their news, not just game specific news.
They added a notification center, and they added link previews, and the best part: games now auto-patch in order of how recently they were played. And they made it so you dont have to restart the launcher to update it immediately.
