But if I want to be a chick who shows off what she's got and also wear leather, my options are few. And I'm not just talking about being scantily clad. FF14 is a good example of gorgeous, stylish leather that looks like it still protects you and is fashionable without being too skimpy
They also have some skimpier options, but a lot of their stuff is the stuff I think of when I think of belts and buckles and beads and ornamentation and style and like... lacework on edges. Things that make you want to keep wearing your outfit instead of that 'man I can't wait to get out of this' stuff.

I'm not actually asking for completely practical armor here, though I do respect the idea of having a range of armor choices that do LOOK practical. Yeah, but... take super-rare mount drops from raid bosses... A minority of the Wow population so much as has even 1 of those mounts because the RNG factor is, for lack of a better word, insane.
Also, people from opposing factions are relentlessly spam-tagging the raid bosses so that even if someone from the other faction does a majority of the damage, they get nothing. I mean.. I like World of Warcraft, but come on. The RNG in this game is the worst i've ever seen, not even kidding. And the retarded tagging doesn't help.

@spice goblet The RNG is insane because they used to be prestige items with a guaranteed drop. Rather than removing them, they decided to keep them in but at a very low droprate so that they could still be obtained by very lucky players.
Any serious mount collector will have a lot if not all of those mounts by now, and people who just casually farm them once in a while shouldn't expect much unless they get really lucky.
