I can't do Amnesia, I had a friend who described a few parts of it and that was bad enough. I have vicariously finished the FEAR games via means of my husband playing them while I watched, those weren't TOO bad. We did the demo for Resident Evil 7 recently and it scared the crap out of us so much that we cancelled the preorder and then deleted the demo off.

Oddly, while Prometheus was flagged high on my body horror meter, watching THAT movie made it easier to watch the Alien movies.
Though those movies are all on the 'never rewatch on purpose except when new ones come out' list. So soon, with the new one being released.
It might be why the silent hill movie itself wasn't so bad - if there's a mystery going on that grabs me more than the scary, my brain tends to dwell on learning new info instead of dwelling on the more terrifying or gory scenes
So I think that's a similar thing where like, the existing comics answer questions that make the fear easier to handle

For anyone who may have wanted to play Mass Effect 2 seeing as Andromeda is newly released as maybe you weren't happy with how poor the game is setup for custom configuration.
Usually editing a .ini file is super simple, but Bioware had to make it much more difficult by adding in a checksum that basically negates the ability to add things to the file unless its rebuilt.

Incidentally, this was in response to my ever-present criticism of concepts like stamina systems and gameplay disruption and how, from a game design perspective, this is detrimental to all players including casual ones.
Which is funny because...I've actually been that guy who plays during a train or bus ride. I run out of stamina or manage to get several, several "play sessions" in, all disrupted by annoying interstitial ads.
Considering such sessions can last for minutes if not seconds based on studying the design of such games, it's easy enough to hypothesize that this has a widespread effect and isn't necessarily anecdotal.

@wide cipher Casual seems to have a few definitions. The particular context I tend to use it is based on how much free time a player has to play in a given period.
It might not be the right one but it does provide some objectivity to the meaning.
That said, casual players are more within the realm of "1 hour per day" or so based on my arbitrary definition. They have a lot of things going on in their lives and can only devote that much time to a game.

Blue screen time is a HUGE cause of sleeping issues
Almost all light coming off monitors and phones/tablets is blue light, I set my phone to 'warm' the light from about 1am onward so that if I'm checking it before bed it doesn't keep me up
you can also install programs to put an 'anti blue' color profile on your monitor
It stops eye strain, headaches, that antsy feeling, etc.
