Better than my teeth moderately increasing in pain. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and could probably sleep it off actually but I wasn't ready to sleep quite yet since I was on a call with my friend

I don't know how to describe it. Mainly when I think about it - it's been a year since I played, mind you - the buttons were all in places you intuitively expect to find them. They were good sized, not ugly, and there were no elements that felt clunky or like they didn't belong, or should have been elsewhere.

Yeah, I've NEVER liked - and have actually complained in here before about - the fact that all ui replacements I seem to find are 'futuristic black borders and monocolor ugly crap'

yeah but you have to re-decide a new theme for WoW, that's kind of the point

The theme it has now is 'ugly stone stuff and chipped off corners and so dated you know it came from 2004'. You have to update that, and a good place to start is by looking at the things they themselves have updated already. THings like adding glowing gold accents and removing the black stone, adding pretty decorative bits and taking away gigantic eagles and things that muddy up the interface and feel too heavy now

Their achievement interface and the new bits of the spellbook, for instance

#

Take those borders around the spell icons. What if your action bar was those borders on either side, with a thin gold border at the bottom, and some tiny subtle glow around each icon space so that you knew where the icons were without the heavy stone stuff?

Redesign the menu bar so that its simple icons that fit at the top above the mini map or along the bottom like tera's. Minimap gets moved to the bottom, make it bigger, still round, gold borders. bag interface similar to the bar interface. etc etc

I'm not sure ripping elements from hearthstone would exactly help though. There are lots of things about its ui that works because of the game it is and the platform it's delivered on that if you tried to do in an MMO would just bog things down and such

The original reason in part was apparently that at the time they wanted to sell the DLC for DA2 directly through origin because Valve used to take a cut off the sales

SO they just started pulling all their titles after that I guess.

Possibly, but probably not that much. Plenty of us were pissed off at the time, but we still wanted our games and our DLC, so Origin gets installed on my computer regardless.

It's like the constant marvel crossover thing. The majority of us hate them, but we end up being forced to buy them anyway in order to keep up with the story across our favorite characters, and then they say they'll only stop doing crossovers when we stop buying them, but - vicious cycle

I can be super laser focused hardcore and it's actually sunk my enjoyment for a LOT of games. SOmetimes you just have to say 'no' to all of those and just work on finding the fun again.

leveling professions doesn't even matter anymore. no matter what skill level you're at you can still mine or pick flowers,etc.

There's a bug where some can't complete actually

I had to redo this shep3 times and go through the first mission again until the bug went away for one of them XD;

But the scan the keepers quest bugs out if you go into the Elcor embassy before getting it, so my mode of operation USED to be to go talk to everyone before going to talk to the council that first time. And now I just go straight to the tower

#

Because otherwise you'll be perma 20/21 for the keeper scanning
