Breath of the Wild... It's a really good game overall
I've spent probably nearly 20 hours on it and only done some of the main quest. The world is enormous and so much of it is scalable.
I mean, sometimes I just ride through valleys or along distinct paths, but clearly that's not mandatory.
Any time I do something I think of the other 10 ways I could've done it.

There's, overall, a very Dark Souls, Witcher 3, wilderness survival-esque feel to the whole thing.
Dark Souls in the sense things will kill you but it'll generally feel fair.
Witcher 3 in the sense there's a fair amount of settlements in an open, environmentally heavy world and a set of tools that feel somewhat like the magic in Witcher 3.

And wilderness survival in the sense there's concepts like durability and frantic need to stay alive even in just the elements.
Hunting is strongly encouraged but you have to be really good at flick shotting or stealth.
Gathering is also strongly encouraged because it helps you get materials to make consumeables and money.
In a Skyrim-esque sort of way, materials can be used to make consumeables with beneficial effects, both in terms of food and also elixirs.
But the crafting system is a lot easier to understand, yet flexible.
I mean...I wish I could craft equipment. Haven't found that yet.
Basically all of this was shown off at E3 so it's not exactly spoilers but that impression the demo leaves. It never goes away really. Go watch a bunch of those demos and extrapolate that across the game with additional creative challenges meant to have creative solutions. That's BotW for me so far.

The game visually looks decent even at the 900p TV mode. Stuff is readable as long as you aren't dumb with your TV settings like my default ones were.
The problem might be weather effects are WAY too intense though.
Lighting just goes out of control and causes frame staggers even when things are clear, turning stunning runs across grasslands into frame drop lagfests. Rainstorms and such obfuscate so much and also cause frame drops.
But then again during high motion scenes like during a certain boss fight that I will not mention, the framerate was stable.

It's not unplayable bad, but it is noticeable and it can suck a little.
I mean, I wish I could turn down lighting a bit...
This is the kind of game I legitimately wish had a PC port, but naturally, it won't.
Because if it did, I would call the game near-perfect and it would upend the desperation genre market known as survival games.
So maybe the game could have an options menu for graphics.

today I learned that bees make a sound when surprised, ie tapping on their hive, and that sound is used to to determine if the bees are healthy or not, as sick bees don't see to care when you tap on their hive.

When I talk about the hunter quest, you get a good idea of the level of hunter I had to train to get to in order to complete it - and even for the best hunters in our raiding alliance, it was like that. Some of us were great kiters but failed the other parts, etc.
But this warlock quest was even more than that, because I'd leveled a warlock to 85 through dungeons and had no idea what I was doing. I went into these scenarios a complete warlock n00b
'Fun' is not the word I would have wanted to use at the time. More like 'oh my god why is this so hard i cry'
The day I defeated that guy i was so stunned - it had been 2 straight weeks of 10 to 15 failed attempts or more
I almost forgot to siphon the energies off of him
That day I freaking graduated okay. @_@
The funny thing is I'd done a bunch of joke attempts that day just to see if it could be cheezed with some jerry rigged strategy and I discovered that if you fight everythign down the stairs you never ever get hit by his catacysm
and then I was like 'okay okay lets stop joking around and just give it one more try just for fun' and that's the time i did it
So yes, I think every class should have something like that. Something that makes you cry and scream and fail and get better and try again, and then you graduate.

Well that's not always true, a lot of the time they use buttercream for that, underneath the fondant layer. When they enrobe a cake IN ganache they usually put another layer of frosting underneath it
Ganache is quite thick, that's the major difference. It comes off a bit fudgy in consistency
