and this isn't like with Blizz where you need to fax over an ID and stuff, nope
all you have to do is recover the account using the recovery system, hacking the email, or otherwise getting access to the account management and removing the authenticator from there since authenticator doesn't restrict access to account management.
TL;DR, Jagex account security sucks. Jagex employee doubles down and blames end user.

as for the system, the general idea of what I can glean is this
account management is pretty basic. Use email/username and pass to log in on the main site. No auth check.
Auth can be removed from this place, no auth check, no delay.
On both games, when you log in, the auth gets checked and you can have it remember the computer for a while.
Bank pins prevent access to the bank (pretty much where all the wealth of a player is usually) and activation and removal takes 7 days each.
So if you want a bank pin, you need to wait 7 days for it to set (to prevent hacker griefing) and if you want to remove, you wait 7 days as well.

Oh yes, also, the game has an account recovery system that asks for stuff like passwords you used in the past, account creation date, and other stuff the original user would totally keep track of (aka they probably don't) to regain access back to the account in the case of catastrophic failure by the end user.
Now I dunno how good the checking is to recover, but apparently people's accounts do get recovered by hackers occasionally, mostly due to social engineering and people getting doxxed.

College stuff: Do every single freshman starter class/orientation event. You'll think some of them aren't worth your time, but then your Junior year you'll wish you'd done them and learned about things like time management, insurance, how to balance your checkbook, which offices to go to to actually get help if you need it.
I skipped mine and for the next four years there were things that people would say "Oh yeah, didn't you go to freshman year skills training? We learned all about that there." And one time I got screwed out of my work study appointment by skipping orientation because the work study sign up sheet was passed around during it. Which meant I got slim pickings on whatever job was left.
Also: Learn your campus, learn what it has to offer, learn how big your library is and how modern the research available is, what their staff can do for you. Don't take any of that for granted. Some college libraries have teams who will gather research for you, for instance. Huge help when your prof wants more than wiki links. And lastly: Plan your time so that you get some sleep. Or you will be in exhaustion hell after year 2.

@wide cipher It's purely guesswork but I'm almost certain raid penalties are deep in the code, probably been there since close to the beginning to prevent people from just farming mobs in 40-man raids to power level
Put another way, I dunno if the devs can just set a flag to make it not enabled during Legion invasions.

OBS is pretty good. FRAPS is alright if you can set it up properly, but you have to pay for it.
OBS takes some setting up to do as well if I remember. I had to set it up to capture "inner window" or something, and sometimes it's a bit of a pain. I have a dual monitor so I can check and see if I'm recording fullscreen stuff properly.

There is a back story about this song. Originally, we had lyrics written for this song but they were poor. They actually were pretty good, but at the time we wouldn't be allowed to release them. The lyrics were about cowboy Joe who is riding his stallion through a prairie, to his beloved Mary, she is thousand miles away in Kentucky, knitting stockings for him. Has kind of a similar UI if I'm remembering minecraft default UI. Definitely looks better though, although I am wondering how the graphics will be handled with all the polygons.

I know WoW... kind of would be capable...? but.... it'd take weird phasing on the environment and I don't know if Blizzard would want to do that so it'd take something much more massive that they don't have.
The problem would be the amount of phasing that would happen, since that's the method they would use... or they would use textures on the ground which would kill computers trying to load them.
One consumes a lot of disk space and server maintenance.... other is.... garbage.

on this one, depends if single or multiplayer
single player on Eco, keepign the eco system balanced
multi player, working together politically to keep the world safe
cos there could also be that one backer that can build a world nuke
