You can buy 3 GTX 1080 with that money. Let's be honest here and not compare apple to oranges, AMD is great, amazing products to offer, great quality, but in extreme power, they always take the lead only when nvidia is not releasing nothing new.

The GTX 1080 just destroyed anything AMD could do regarding extreme GPU cards. :S

@steady fossil re the panama papers. It is high time that tax avoidance through international havens is stopped. Unfortunately it will still take an international collaborative approach to plug the gaps. In Australia it was leaked late last year of a couple of conglomerates that avoid tax altogether ie Caltex. Subsequently i do not purchase their products on principle

no, the mesh is the air intake, you would need a dust filter behind the mesh if dust is an issue for you, BUT it's easy open, so cleaning is easy

Someone had awesome cable management + custom loops from the CPU to the GPU to a radiator, in my current case

I find it interesting that CPUs have giant heatsinks or dual fan radiators typically, but GPUs are kept low profile heatsinks and dual or triple smaller fans

This is super confusing. The guy is telling me I don't need a 650W because.. I don't need it. That's true, BUT as he said himself, there's a 10 year warranty, might aswell get the best value.

It's £74 for 550W, £80 for 650W and £87 for 750W.

750W is physically longer and overkill probably. I could see the 550W being not enough though.
