I like that transmog. Wish they'd add more "3d"-ness to the armour in the game rather than skin-tight armour. Like leather and cloth is mostly fine but mail and plate just looks weird sometimes.

It'd be a bit of extra work though. I've messed around a little bit with custom textures for armour to see if I could essentially "update" the texture to a higher resolution. It actually worked pretty nicely, but it took hours to finish a few pieces. I found it nice and entertaining to mess with, and I'd honestly take it as a job with Blizzard. But I can definitely see why updating old armour would be a very daunting task.

I've been trying to make it limited to certain things, and I started with an idea (not initially stolen from Avatar the Last Airbender) where I have Solid, Liquid, Gas, and Plasma be controllable by specific "energy level" genes. But there's always the problem of somebody being able to silently sever a hidden artery or something and instant-kill someone
I've also thought of trying to impose some kind of "only inorganic matter" type of thing.
But at the very core of it, even a person's hand is made of chemical compounds, etc. ._.

I've always played video games - specifically platform-ish games. I liked WoW's 3d type of structure for that reason and it got me hooked
I would always sit down and think, "How does this even work?" So I never really got into board games. :c

That is a slight concern of mine as well I think, because some relics buff some considerably boring and nearly useless traits while some buff really powerful ones.

As far as I know, though, they don't buff any single-point traits or elite traits
and most multi-point traits are boring. However it still becomes really clear which "boring" ones are the best. Health increase on a tank by 5% or increase damage of heroic leap by 5%.
currently I'm unsure how you get relics besides maybe quests and random drops. I saw some drop from Emerald Nightmare I think
as far as I know, they're practically going to be treated like tier drop tokens, too, being "blood," "iron," etc.
not sure if I necessarily like that or not, but it is interesting to see how that plays out. Problem I could see is imbalance of one type over the other, like "too many iron relic slots" etc.
