i reckon some pve would be an interesting aspect to the game as it gives a whole new realms of capabilty as u can add new weapons and armour evan maybe spawners(could be a gen that generates mob drop loot)

I have conflicted feelings about this
on one hand it sounds good since it adde another idea to the game
on the other hand it seems like it would be hard to balance this with normal gens
