@toxic elbow Could you develop your idea a bit more because I don't really understand.... disputes, there's no disputes between our villagers... assist running the village.... what do you want those NPCs to do exactly?
Make sure water is getting filled and help repair buildings
make sure water is getting filled..... you just need to have a worker at the well and adjust his work intensity to fill enough buckets per day for your villagers' needs...... help repair buildings, build a builder's hut and assign someone when season start you need to go in the management and tell them what to repair (because each buildings will need precise resources depending what is broken etc) .....
And if any of your building isn't providing enough workforce to craft as much as you want it's time to build another one (like more than 1 well etc)....
I can't see anything a villager could do to help with that, honestly...... suggestion is valid so I won't lock, but as a player I don't see any use for that, and each job needs its building btw because it's the building that provide the job... so it will be a 👎 for me
Good initial idea, it can also give you pointers about what is good or wrong about the village, a place you can "hear" complaints
u can ask ur wife/husband what are the problems in the village
I’m a bit late but adding onto this message slightly.
Yes, we can ask our significant other about the problems in the village. But why would we not be able to learn that from the villagers themselves? Why not have a few more dialogue options with the villagers where they state that they need a few fixes to their houses, their work is interrupted by insufficient supplies etc etc…
I don’t think we need a big meeting hall where every single person in the village shares what they want, but subtle dialogue about what the village needs from more people than only our significant other could add onto immersion
Pls tell me if my message doesn’t make sense or I need to rephrase something, English isn’t my first language :P
