I think, a good idea for MD could be, by creating a crossover between Medieval Dynasty and Sengoku Dynasty.

That can be done, by creating a new Dlc, Wich adds weapons, clothing and food items from Sengoku Dynasty to Medieval Dynasty...

Medieval Dynasty and Sengoku Dynasty are both published by Toplitz Productions, as far as I know.

Sengoku Dynasty has good looking assets, so a crossover (in some form) would be awesome...

I don't like this, it would be better to make period improvements specifically for Medieval Dynasty in a new DLC, not copied from another era.

Same publisher but different developers..... and Medieval Dynasty is set to be in Poland... asian stuff has nothing to do in Poland 1080

I mean I'm no expert of the time period by any means but the sengoku period of japan didn't exist for another 400 or so years after medieval dynasty is set so the technology is from different periods and I also can't imagine Poland and Japan had that many connections if any in the 11th century

# ebon osprey I think, a good idea for MD could be, by creating a crossover between Medieval D...

More specific ideas for such a crossover:

  • cherry blossom trees (saplings can be purchased through a traveling merchant), including cherries and various different foods...

  • a katana. Katanas are a medieval type of weapon, so why not. They would be a bit weaker than the elite sword, because irl, they were one-side-bladed, and 'classic' longswords are usually two-side-bladed... They could be exclusively obtained through a traveling merchand.

  • silk (and a bunch of fancy looking clothes, made out of silk) featuring new recipes for the sewery... Silk can exclusively be obtained through trading as well.

That's not unrealistic, because in the real middle ages, silk also were quite popular in Europe and pure luxus. Also adding a katana (they look so cool by the way) would make sense.

Why this idea I can't support.
Historically it is 0% correct.
Japan sent Cherry Blossom Tree for the first time as gift to Poland.. in 1988 in regard of memory of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Next gift of 1,000 Cherry Blossom Trees - by Nagasaki prefecture in 1995, was gift to the capital of Poland (Warsaw) to appreciate spreading beauty across parks and streets.
Taking in consideration we are talking about X/XI century... Then the ending of XXth century... It's not possible crossover.
Same for Katanas. They appeared in XXth century and there is NOU way...
As for silk... First mentions of silk in Poland comes from XV/XVIth century. One of first who brought silk to Poland to can be produced was King Jan III Sobieski III around... XVIIth century.
As for the real crossover between PL-JP... They were not close enough to can talk about it. Not until the edge of XXth century.
They're different constellations on two different parts of globe in middle ages time:))
The only "similarities" is that both countries were expanding at their own pace, however their paths didn't met.
The story behind Poland and Japan, diplomatic and economics "crossover"... 1919. Then the real "crossover" after 1989 due to the fact Japan started to tighten relationship after WW2.
