My husband looks very similar to most of the other villagers husbands (I need the most handsome rogue husband, ok?!). More importantly, have villagers appearances randomized. Most of the people look the same besides changing the hair color.
When I add a person to my village, I’d prefer them to have different facial features and skin complexions.
For example:

For the villagers in different cities/towns for instance, who work in farming more, they should have darker complexions compared to the mining cities, which should have more lighter complexions. Just to give it more of a realistic touch.

OR when picking travelers from campfires they have randomized appearances. A lot of them say they are just passing through anyway or not from “around here”.
