It would be nice to put more details for the "survival" part of the game. I think about snowshoes when you go out in the forest wheres there's no trail. Without those, in winter, your character can get stuck in the snow. When it happens, the character may suffer from cold way more and will be slowed when trying to walk or run.
Also, it would be nice for exemple, to add some big winter storm, with blizzard, where you need to hide your animal in a barn to put them in security due to the cold.. it would add a little difficulty to the survival game. The winterstorm can put some trees in the street and also, can fall on a house. Then, you would need to rebuild a house or building and injured people..
It can be an random event.. that happens anytime.

Now, for the rain, it can be cool if we can get rain coat, and other things for when its raining. Without these clothes, the character may suffer from flu and other illness. As he get wets, for exemple, if he/her only wear basic t-shirt, the corporal temperature will get colder, so you'll need to get dry with a fire for exemple. It would be nice to add a clothes rack, to put some clothes on the rack to get em dry. ( can also aply in winter with freezing rain in the last days of winter as it gets hotter, near of spring ) . We could craft some to our villager in their house, if we dont want'em to get cold and illness too.

There were no rain coats in middle ages. (And no T-shirts, either) (and no umbrellas)

We have the game mechanic that you suffer from cold or heat, if you wear unsufficient clothing already ingame. To my humble opinion that is enough. I don't think, more of this would add to gameplay, but I think, it would be mainly annoying to change your clothes multiple times a season/day/few minutes.

And it wouldn't add to "realism", if you would be forced to drag along 2 full sets of clothing and change in no time at all in the wilderness.

Just trying to figure out the game can be more challenging. I really enjoy playing, but i feel like meat, wood and water is too easy to get (and thats the main reason of why you survive or no...)

But in this case, if you feel like theres no realism to it, what you think of : snowshoes, and trees falling, causing damage to house and building?

Snowshoes I'm not sure about. If I usually run offroad on a bee line, it's because there is a quest to be ending soon and I would be very, very annoyed by having penalities like you described them. But normally I use the roads, so snowshoes wouldn't matter.

Trees falling: I think, there is already a seasonal event ingame with a storm damaging houses. But apart from that, I like the idea.

And you know, you can use the game settings to make the game more challenging by setting up the needs of the villagers or taxes?
