Make it so that you can turn food-rotting completely off.
I make a whole lot of food in my game, at the end of the season i have to see to it that its either sold or that i have thrown it out (i have rotting food off) why not make it so food doesn't rot at all even in chests? have a 3-way slider in options, rotting on, rotting only in chests and no rot at all.
If you want rot for farming etc. put it in the rotting bin/compost.
