#Improved house painting

@iron vale the last sentence of your suggestion should be a different suggestion.... having different stone/wood textures added has nothing to do with paint colors.....
Please do the modifications because this suggestion doesn't respect the rules of the section as you have 2 suggestions in 1 thread. https://discord.com/channels/1069629094871978074/1247565222605230214
How can I best make the point of the possibility that wall textures can have an impact on how paint looks then?
Add a sentence in this suggestion saying that maybe the colors aren't looking at their best because of wall textures.
That way you're not suggesting to modify the wall textures here. Though, you can make another suggestion to suggest that the devs rework the walls textures
Then, if you want, you could come back to this suggestion and add the link to this new suggestion (about wall textures) to your first message
Thank you for the response and pointers. This I can work with.
🙂 thank you 🙂
Definitely agree with the intensity slider for paint!
Also agree!
I don't mind so much that the colours are strong, but rather the hue with the touch of neon colour. I don't think a slider can improve it that much, if it then goes towards pastel, it would look wrong again in my opinion.
The colours of the market stalls are also strong without being so unpleasantly bright. (Of course, you can't transfer this 1:1 because they are different materials).
The market stall red is also a real red, the house wall red is more of a magenta/pinkish colour.
So yes, basically I agree more or better colours would be great. A slider could be helpful in addition (but not as the sole solution in my opinion).
I love that we can make the village more colourful.
Personally, I find it a little hard to combine the colours, so that they fit harmoniously.
The house colours are very pretty, to my eyes though they look a little unreal, too perfect, too vibrant, maybe they could be tweaked a little to look more natural? (If it’s not just me, I know that people perceive colours differently.)
I would love if there were different shades of colours. Colours are a great way to individualize houses, but I would prefer to, e.g., paint a neighbourhood in different shades of green, so they differ but still go well with each other, otherwise it gets very motley.
I would love if there were, in addition to the ribbons, pictures that were designed for either one wall tile, or one house side. E.g., just a basket of wheat and a scythe or a couple of fish with some water plants, something that stands alone and doesn’t need to go around the whole house.
