So, I came back to the game (Hi, Missed me?) after the armor update, Then busy season started so, I only now had time.
The armor we got is all metal, We have under armor but they make you melt in summer. Why ain't there leather armor, Fitting for archers?
Leather armor: Leather
Studded leather armor: Leather and iron

I'd really like to see some leather padded armor, leather scale armor, bracers, etc.
I feel like that would be more fitting for 11th century folk

There isn't a whole lot of recorded use of leather armor as leather was soft and weak as opposed to Raw hide which is stiffer and harder than leather and when it was used as in the case of Brigandine armor where it was sometimes an outer layer of leather with oblong steel plates and an inner layer of cloth all riveted together, though Brigandine armor wasn't made until the late medieval period, but considering hardly any media knows or cares about the historical accuracy of the leather armor I suspect the addition will be well received regardless
