Not sure how to explain this, but an option before you start the game you can start as an heir and watch ur father/mother control the village u will soon take over. The skills he teaches you give u a stat boost or a free skill point in said farming/production/etc. (In singleplayer and multiplayer)
While your the heir, you can set an example for yourself while you grow up, stealing, helping others, making friends,(when you made said friend they can either join your village or add where said friend made a village and you are friends with that village, meaning lower prices, etc.)
