#donkeys being able to work the mill or used by the villagers

This would be nice to give an additional use to the larger farm animals (donkey, cow or horse). If multi-use of the existing large farm animals is too complicated to implement, add an ox or mule to the farm animals where their specific job is to work the millstone. The ox could be kept in the cowshed or the mule could be kept in stable much like both goats and sheep being kept in the fold.
It would be nice to have a possibility to have donkey cart for transportation too.
Maybe the male cattle can work the equipment. Gives them a use besides being there to breed.
because there was no windmills in 11th AD 🙂
I would like to „hire“ my donkeys to the villagers, so they can use them to lug their stuff around… for me this doesn’t need to have a use or buff, it would just be a great immersive animation to have villagers leading donkeys around town, or maybe on a shopping trip to a neighboring village. 🚶🫏 ❤️
A donkey being used after you get a horse would be great
Since 90% of people don't use donkeys after they get the faster version
In my head, a way to implement this would be to have a copy of the villager screen, where they have lodging and work. Donkey will have lodging and work, you can pick which stable they are part of and then pick which building they should work for.
All extraction buildings will have a slot below the apprentices slots for donkeys, depending on the level of the extraction building, starting from level 2 onwards. They will give a x% boost in production.
For farming, we can have bulls (or cows but cows wont produce milk if assigned to other buildings) assigned to the buildings.
And the trader can have a slot to assign horses.
For start we can have just the passive, and later on if the devps don't have any other pressing update to work on, we can have some animations.
