This would be a long term thing to build, that requires a significant amount of resources over a long period of time - imagine a King's request to build a military outpost in the Valley, and it required a lot (1000s) of building materials, weapons, etc. that you contribute to over time and get to see it be built up somewhere on the map as you hit milestones. This might be something to work on later in the game when you have a village set up and relatively autonomous.
