hahaha nah just crush some and use a toothpick to put some on a "dew" drop. They aren't like super quick traps like venus fly traps, and even then, you can just pull away. they're just sticky for insect sized things, not people

I tray water them, so it's always very moist. That's why i always need to check for mould or algae. though once they're bigger, algae isn't an issue, it can just smother them at their current size
the outside water level is about 1/4 up the side of the dirt, and then i let it get down and then top it up a day after they don't get any water
Basically anything you know about plants, do the opposite for sundews lol

Yes you sure can, they just need normal sunlight, but you can use those grow lights as well if you don't have a lot of sun coming in through your windows.

They have a cover over them to stop bugs. and i washed the peat moss soil before i potted it. I also have a neem oil mixture that i spray it with if i think there is any mold. so far it hasn't been a problem

they are still teeny tiny, just not microscopic anymore lol
but even though i'd treated and prevented any mould in the top of the soil in their previous pot, there was a bit in the middle when i moved them. The sphagnum moss and perlite (the kitty litter π ) should help prevent it happening again
especially since the moss was (disappointingly) a lot more alive than expected, but i did wash it as always so hopefully there won't be an ourbreak of algae or mould straight off the bat

my drosera spatulata are considered a weed in a advanced carnivorous garden, because they just produce so many seeds, and not just at the one point of the year
