Or Pre-Mark the ground in the "footprint" of the building when removable objects are in the way (trees, decorations and whatnot). Then place the building automatically like it would have normally when the space has been cleared
A workaround for now is to use photomode while blueprint is active to check which trees are affected. 🙂 (This suggestion would of course be faster if implemented.)
