I feel like way to many people walk around bareheaded in the game. All woman and most men should wear something on their head at all times. I also would'nt mind a few more styles of female headwear.

Hulletje is absolutely right. Because of Christian beliefs, it was God-given for women to cover their hair. The hair was the honor of a woman and this should not be shown to everyone. It should be reserved for the husband. So it was not a sign of oppression, more of a caring gesture to protect women.

I don't know what women were wearing on their heads in the 11th century in poland, but I think they might have worn at least a headscarf (for protecting their hair from getting dirty when working). For men it is quite easy: it is this funny "baby bonnet" we have already ingame (don't know what it is called). They even wore it beneath other hats or helmets.
