Suno improvises in some styles. That happens from time to time and depends on well written lyrics and Metatag usage (or lack there of)

See above. Also think of it like this: the AI needs to fill up some time in the style you want. If it doesn't know what exactly that is via the style prompt nor there is any directions given in the lyric prompt, it will assume.

Add in valid lyrics and/or style prompts if you do not want hallucinations. If you want instrumental pieces, use instrumental tags (talked about at suno.wiki if you do not know what those are)

The AI tries to find a good rhyme and sometimes that involves skipping lines or parts of it.

I remember making a song about the IT Crowd emergency services new hotline number and it skipped a few digits so that the rhyme flowed appropriate (with both tracks generated having a different number of digits)

Could be as simple as RNG 🤷 It is not like the AI has a static inference which is why it does not duplicate songs when you use Reuse Prompt.

The choice of genre and the flow of the song influences the output. If you want to craft lyrics suited to the song, you may want to create an intro instrumental piece then extend it - the intro rhythm will help formulate how you want the lyrics worded

Nope, I have not played much with tempo. You could try to fuse the rap genre with much faster ones (e.g. breakcore) but it will take quite a good amount of experimenting.

Perhaps ask at #💬┃general-chat or #📚┃suno-school if anyone has any suggestions? Also looking through the rap trending or Explore may let you encounter those with fast raps and see what they used in the style prompt

If you hadn't cancelled the subscription you would have received another package of credits to use within the next monthly timeframe.

This has always been a use it or lose it proposition. That text has as far as I can remember always been listed on a subscription page.

There are very few AI services that have rollover credits. And the one that I myself am aware of only has those credits rollover as long as the subscription is active.

Hi, I'm having some problems after generating music.
So far, I have been creating music with a music genre mixed with orchestra, the results of the instruments are balanced, but why after this week I get unbalanced output results where the results of the instruments in my music are not balanced, tend to be stronger to the right.
Likewise in ordinary or traditional genres, not orchestral

One more thing, I started to often find that the lyrics I created did not match the generated results because they were often repeated and some of them skipped the order of the lyrics

Not a bug -- You get 5 credits back for every generation under 8 seconds -- you'll see "credits refunded" beside the song in your library.

If you've used up all of the credits on your paid plan (or only have 5 left), you'll reset to the daily cap of 50 at 11pm EST.

There isn't a way to delete credits at the moment, but you can email [e-mail] if you want them to remove the 5 credits for visual purposes, but it shouldn't impact your ability to earn credits as usual -- email the support link I provided if you don't receive your credits, however.

Off sync whole song after ext needing to ext to fix the ext thus negating the first ext 🤦‍♂️ After multiple attempts, extend just seems exceptionally wasteful today adding insult to injury for the gens tendency to randomly yet regularly [vocalize instruction] each being out of sync or cut off mid line...jarring/mismatched styles/tone/voice/genre/tempo from where it should pick up from, "mini endings" that fade/build/fade/built. Completion or correction with the same style/structure is what inspires (🔥💳) the feature & IMO its poor value for one track ending when it does work as most 2min max outputs are -1min (-20s even) and lower quality at the same cost as a new full 4min max gen making a roll of the dice (-100💳 ) on 20 on unusable endings a double bummer. -1min unrelated/bad sync/degraded snippets of half silence and artifacts without completing the track or correcting the non-user error is < 20 new full attempts sans style. Hello, I have been having an issue lately (Last 2 to 3 weeks I guess) where I am creating a song, I add Verse 1, then Chorus, then verse 2, the 23 of them for the same extension, Verse 1 is sang all correctly, however, once the Chorus kits in, the first two lines are sang correctly, but the third and forth lines get mixed with the third and forth line from the verse 1 or from Chorus to verse, etc, this happening very often and it could happen at any moment during the song. the create button doesn't work. i write my prompt I press the button the music note turns into the loading circle for half a second then it turns back without doing anything, and if i press it a few times i get a warning at the bottom of the screen saying please wait for the generation to finish but it never does anything. If you're able to select a different model when extending an upload, it'll still use v3.5, the bug is that it's letting you choose a different model (extending an upload isn't supported by v2 or v3, only v3.5.)

Upgrading the Plan doesnt work A: It loads forever, most likely trying to open a site but the script doesnt seem to work correctly or B: failing to charge my card. When i buyed premium on the other hand it changed to the Suno Billing Site and worked from there, but it doesnt work when you try to pay trough the script. Which might be some kind of Banking Protection. Same happens when i try to buy more Credits.

Possible Solution: Make sure if you want to bill anything, you get redirected to the billing site to make sure to confirm your purchase.

BUT I really need to explain this because this is the epitome of credit waste. 😦 I sang the first verse and chorus into a recorder and uploaded it, then put the lyrics so that the whole song could be generated from the EXTEND. HOWEVER, the extend skips the first verse and chorus. 😦 Well, not the intention - I on purpose sing badly both because its a rush job and because SUNO typically does interesting things with all my wrong notes. 😂 But I usually want the song to simply start over so I get the whole song without my singing. When I realized it was going to keep skipping the first verse and chorus because I had already sung it, I simply posted the verse again, so that we would sing verse despite that I had already sung it. BUT NO! It sang verse 1 and chorus 1 twice, guaranteeing that it wouldn't finish the song without another extension. Please - I can see situations where the original singing is wanted, but I can also see situations where it's not. We need a way to tell Suno which is which.

This is likely an issue with your account. Looking at your chat history here, I see that you have tried contacting support previously. This is however the only way I know of to resolve the issue. They do respond, but it can take a while sometimes. Try e-mailing them again or e-mailing from a different address if for some reason your e-mail did not reach them.

I also see that you mentioned that you created an account and got 500 credits. When was this? I assume it is a free account?

Whenever I create music for a specific genre, such as blues or progressive rock, and for a specific prompt, there is a bug where the AI vocalist does not sing the lyrics correctly, even if I divide the song into parts such as [verse] and [chorus], it will only sing the lyrics of [verse] over and over (for example, if I have [verse 1] and [verse 2], it will only sing the lyrics of [verse 1]).

I even tried splitting the song into 1-minute chunks to fix this, which didn't improve the behavior at all,

I am extremely stressed out by this bug, and it's cost me thousands of credits in wasted credits that I've just wasted.

If these bugs can't be fixed, the least that can be done is to return credits for the parts that were deleted due to the bug.

Regarding extend always failing: Can you give more details about what is happening? Share the song you are trying to extend, what time you are extending from, and what is happening? There doesn't appear to be a problem affecting everyone so the extra information would likely be useful for the developers if there is something they need to look at fixing.

If the extension is just not long enough, try moving the "extend from" time to be a bit earlier.

Sometimes, during generation, a single click on the creation button results in two simultaneous generations! That means 4 at the same time.

If its intended behavior that's fine, but if it isn't, it appears to allow for a restoration of half of your credits at each step IFF you click on your profile immediately

The extension being separate is normal. If you click on the three dots and select "Get Full Song", it will create a new song with both the original and the extension stitched together.

Also: v3.5 initial generations are up to 4 minutes long, v3.5 extensions are up to 2 minutes long. So it is normal for the extension to be cut off at 2 minutes.

Ok so that's at least made it longer... I'd try extending from that new part again, maybe from an early time again. Basically the intention with this idea is to make the AI forget that it wanted to end the song. It picks up on the flow of the song so sometimes it's necessary to push it away from the ending.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned or this technically counts as a bug. Since the notice received on Aug 12, that all Pro/Premier plan creators will get 50 creds per day after exhausting their normal monthly credits, I see an issue. A few days ago, I used up what was remaining of my credits, only to be stuck with 5, due some "END" extensions sometimes going beyond the short refunded time. Since my credits are not "technically" exhausted, I am not able to get the 50, nor am I able to create anything to eat up those 5, because, as the alert reminds us, must have 10 credits to create. Has this been addressed already?

I am absolutely furious and deeply disappointed with the situation. While trying to create a song, I found a suitable melody, but encountered constant errors. Using the extension, I noticed that the melody either disappears or the errors keep repeating endlessly. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, all leading to the same result, I decided to try a different option. And yet again, the same problems occurred! Even on the third attempt, the errors persisted. As a result, my trash bin is filled with 15.5 pages (20 tracks per page) of the same song. 785 credits have been wasted! I demand immediate compensation based on your 'Product malfunction' policy, which states that in cases of significant downtime or non-working features, credits should be offered and carried over to the next month!

Try setting the "extend from" time to be earlier. Once Suno has started heading towards the end of a song, it will continue trying to, so extending from an earlier point makes it forget it was doing that.

Hmm. How far back did you go? Sometimes you might need to go quite a bit further back. Like if you hear it starting a new section of the songs, extend from the time it starts to do that. I just keep trying earlier and earlier.

Sounds about right. I can't get ANY genre to work anymore. I get reggaeton from drum and bass, metal from dancehall, and reggae from chillwave, not consistently, just RANDOM. Suno actually worked months go, but it's nearly stopped making anything remotely useful except for random noise samples.

I experience repeating issues when trying to handle tracks in Trash.

1. There's neither filtering no group actions, thus I have to manually list Trash pages, mass selecting items via Ctrl/Shift clicking and trying to delete permanently via right-click menu.

Sooner or later, deleting begins report attempts to delete more tracks than I actually selected. That means those tracks are not actually deleted: if I force Ctrl-F5 reloading of the page, I will find all the "deleted permanently" tracks.

2. Tracks are not listed in chronological order. o me, they can be listed in almost arbitrary order, mostly chronological.

Search/filtering/deleting by mask/age could enhance the Trash interface, actually.

I'm a paid subscriber, and I've been struggling to generate music with a specific accent. In my case, I need vocals in European Portuguese. I've tried adding meta tags to the lyrics, like [Portuguese of Portugal] and [Vocals in Portuguese of Portugal], or selecting the genre "Portuguese of Portugal," but without any luck. This is an arbitrary thing. You get X generations for free. Each gen gets two variations. So you get X(2) songs. The computing cost of doing two variations on the same prompt is less than doing one each on two distinct prompts. So think of it like a bonus free variation on that so gle prompt. Hope that helps.

For english songs at least, Suno defaults to Male. Perhaps for Chinese songs it has more training data featuring female singers. What kind of tags are you putting in the lyrics? Whatever they are, try doing it in chinese instead (or in addition).

I can tell you right away that this: [Verse][Man] is not going to be a reliable way to specify the singer. I'd omit the [Man] entirely, because it'll just confuse the model. If you specify the gender in the style prompt well enough (i.e. "male singer" not just "man") that should be all you need to do. I will test this now.

But I have not had any success getting a masculine voice, so it could just be a lack of training data. I'll try one other trick, which will be putting english vocals in at the start.

I just noticed an issue where it doesn't appear to be possible to remove a like or unlike one of your own playlists.

From the list of my playlists I can click on the thumbs up icon on the thumbnail to like it, which likes it and then opens the playlist but clicking on the icon again doesn't remove that like (the like count goes up by 1 briefly and then resets like it's trying a add a new like instead of removing it).
On the page for the playlist itself, there are no like or unlike buttons - the public switch shows in the same place that those buttons show on someone else's playlist.

Suno, I found probably the first BUG connected to the cover function: you are not allowed to change to the ver 3.0 while in cover mode. But if you select it though, it will be kept selected, so when you go to "create mode", the version will be 3.0 although you did not want to to that time. So the programmer must disable the selection of the version (3.0, 3,5 etc) while in cover mode !

yeah, the cover function is great but not so great with only 60s upload song lenght! this is very annoying. I made in 24 hrs 600 songs with the cover function. I see that the only option is to report as "inappropriate" so yes it would be good to be able to report for other reasons such as where a user has made a song from copyrighted lyrics or from a copyrighted audio sample that they have uploaded.

Suno requires that users agree not to use content they don't have rights to, before they can use custom lyrics or upload audio, so it becomes the responsibility of the user to comply with copyright for those things.

Try "Custom" mode. The default mode is "Simple" mode which automatically generates style tags based on the description you give it (so it's decided that it should add "electronic" to the style.)

Ah yeah I've noticed that when trying to prompt for "happy hardcore", it seems to treat hardcore as one of the metal sub-genres but treats the "happy" part as a mood rather than part of the genre. Generally if a genre has a space in it I find putting a dash in between helps (so "happy-hardcore", though I know that's not the style you're aiming for you could try combining it with one of the other genre words)

You’d need to ask one of the mods or guides who maintain them if they’re still being used.

You could encourage other users to upvote the post to give the devs a quick way to see which ideas resonated with large crowds.

I think the devs are able to pull ideas from the usual suggestions & bugs channels, so I don’t doubt your ideas are still being heard by the devs, but there’s no expected turnaround for any of them to be followed up on.

This may improve if/when "negative" prompts are supported. At the moment the style prompt is taken as things that you do want, so the AI will see the word "guitar", even if you put "no" before it. The only way around this that I can suggest is to put other instruments that you do want, and don't mention guitar anywhere.

Generation progressing, able to play the clip, played the clip, and then was presented a generation error, and the clip is gone entirely. Regardless of having just listened to it (90% of it) moments prior. Concerned, because it was a hole-in-one generation off of a lot of work. Not sure if it's a common/semi-common occurance, or anything like that. As mentioned, never had any issues beyond my capability to resolve on my end. Anyway, great service Suno.

It's beta, so you will get songs that are very similar. I have that too. But it's mostly because you are either adding too much in the style of music or adding a style that doesn't work with your cover. Keep it simpel, don't add too much.

For the Flosstradamus contest for instance, I start with his style which is trap [edm] and then I add one more style.

The more you add, the more it will forget the original, or collapse back to the original.

I wonder when Suno will fix the issue with AI repeating verses. I got 20 versions of the song where it does that. Verses numbered, not short, special instructions to sing following the lyrics - it just keeps repeating. All were reported as bugged, no refund though. Not saying Suno makes my browser go mad by using too much memory and CPU.

So since a few days when a song is used to Extend, it can no longer be trashed without first viewing a different page in the library... But there's no indication of this anywhere, so multi-delete is useless now, since it won't let you trash anything if even one of the songs is "protected" this way. This makes it incredibly infuriating to keep my library clean since once I have the full song, I want to get rid of the individual parts and now I have to individually trash 4 pages of parts, moving to page 2 and back to page 1 if it doesn't show the trash option:

Little strange as was working yesterday and the piece i am using to create a cover was purely from Promp in Suno no upload of audio. BUG REPORT: I renamed all my song parts before generating the full song. All the pieces extend from part 1 now. For example part 7 extends from part 1 instead of part 6. Completely destroys the song. Hours of work and most of my month's credits wasted. 😭

Additional symptom: Whereas before it told me the time in the previous track it was continuing from, after renaming this information is lost.

Not an expert by any means but if you're trying to switch from female to male within the same song it can be hard. If extending, make sure you do it when no vocals are happening. Definitely can't do a seamless switch without instrumentals in between.

The move to trash is always disappearing from the context menu. You can actually accurately repeat it by simply selecting more than one item and open the menu using ... icon. Then the item disappears, never returns until a refresh.

Potential Bug with the Cover Feature? -

When you are out of free covers, even though it should cost 10 credits to make the 2 covers, and I had 5 credits left, I was still able to get the 2 covers, spending the 5 credits instead of 10.

Method of reproduction (unless this is a one off):

1 - Use all of your free 200 covers up
2 - Have 5 credits remaining
3 - Try to make a cover song even though it shouldn't let you with 5 credits
4 - It should end up with you having spent those 5 credits to make 2 cover songs, and the end result is then you get the daily 50 credits with premium.

I am incredibly frustrated. I'm not going to go into my tragic backstory, just that I have missed years, upon years, of my favorite holiday, due to health issues. To make up for it, I decided to make a Halloween album. As I mentioned, I am definitely that dramatic, ridiculous artist, so I just threw myself right in. I blew through my monthly credits, while fighting the robot, and just two days ago, upgraded to premier, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to go through all of those credits, as well.

This has all been for one song (Although, I tried to move on to another, for my own sanity, and it doesn't like that one either).

No matter what I do, it repeats it's favorite verse. On the rare occasion that it does not do this, it's skipping other parts. It doesn't want to follow metatags at all. I wasted the majority of these credits, on my favorite version that I've gotten so far, trying to fix it piece, by piece, but then, the pieces I do happen to get going, don't match up, when I have it get the whole song.

Also, does the thumbs up/down feature, do anything? How would it know what we do/don't like about a song?

Is there a solid way to get meta tags to work? I want to do unheard of things, like having more than one singer, on the same song!

something is going on with covers/upload audio rn. Tried creating covers with a 2 minute clip of a one of my own songs I produced years ago, and it's causing my whole library to go invisible. Issue: In the create song route, when playing a newly generated song it will not add the generated song to a playlist the first time you try it.

Expected behaviour: That the song is expected to be added to the chosen playlist.
