All of these characters all have an alternate version of the Wind God Fist, called an EWGF, that does the exact same thing except it shows an electrical spark, is safer than a regular WGF, and does slightly more damage as well. So, how do you do an EWGF?

There are a couple of things you can do to make hitting your EWGFs easier. The best example is what the game says when you look at a Mishima's moveset to find the EWGF. The game explains that you can do the same input for the WGF, but input the

at the same time.

Another method you can use, which is the method that i use to hit mine a lot more, is using a similar yet different input to the WGF. You can actually skip the
and try and input what is called a PEWGF (Perfect Electric Wind God Fist).
I find it easier to do this input as it is fast enough to actually have the EWGF come out a bit more frequently to the WGF, however this input is not really worth trying to do unless you can confidently do a WGF.

One small trick you can do to also ease yourself into learning the WGF and EWGF is to practice them on Kazuya Mishima. Kazuya has no moves that can mess up the inputs of a WGF, whereas characters like Devil Jin and Reina have moves that can mess up the inputs of the WGF.
