#I’m trying to generate a video for a new intro for my YouTube channel, however I received an error

Short answer: I can’t find an ElevenLabs article that mentions the exact “Missing required assets” error string. However, based on current docs, that message typically appears when a generation path expects files (assets) you haven’t provided. Please check the following:
- If you’re using Image & Video: video generation now requires a paid plan. Free plans can generate images only. If you’re on Free, switch plans or use a paid workspace, then try again. (elevenlabs.io)
- If you selected a mode that needs inputs (e.g., Image‑to‑Video start frame, Video‑to‑Video reference, or an Audio reference), you must supply those assets; pure Text‑to‑Video does not. Verify the model/mode you picked and provide the corresponding files. (elevenlabs.io)
- If you’re running a post‑processing step (e.g., LipSync or other post‑processing models), you must first have an existing generated output or upload your own image/video; otherwise the step won’t run. (elevenlabs.io)
- If you used a Template, ensure you’ve completed every required input on each step before running; Templates are guided and specify which inputs are required. (elevenlabs.io)
If none of the above applies, please share:
- Which tool you were in (Image & Video, Templates, or Studio), the model selected, and what inputs you provided.
- A screenshot and the asset’s History ID or the Studio/Project ID.
You can also email team@elevenlabs.io with those details for direct help. (help.elevenlabs.io)

How can I contact support? – ElevenLabs
I’m on the Creater plan, and my subscription renewed today, so I was wondering what I was missing when I was trying to generate a video with this prompt “Zoom into glowing circuit board in darkness, traces light up in sequence like a heartbeat. Central chip flares green, projects holographic text: ‘Geezeption awakening. Geez interface connected. Ready to disrupt.’ Electricity arcs across board, overload sparks, screen burns white then cools to faint green outline of logo and powers off.
I’m trying to create a new cool intro for my YouTube channel named Geezeption. (edited)”
Probably because of the lines or? what I was missing?
Short answer: the “Missing required assets” message appears when the selected workflow/model expects input files you haven’t supplied. It isn’t about the lines in your prompt.
What likely happened and how to fix it
- You selected a post‑processing or LipSync model (e.g., Omnihuman 1.5 or Veed LipSync). These require you to upload specific assets before Generate is available:
- Omnihuman 1.5: needs a static source image and a speech audio file.
- Veed LipSync: needs a source video and a new speech audio file.
If either input is missing, generation can’t start. Upload the required files, then click Generate. (elevenlabs.io)
- If you were using a Template, some steps require assets (images, video, audio) before proceeding. Open the template and complete each required step/asset upload. (elevenlabs.io)
- If you tried to render from Studio as “video” without a video track present, export can’t produce a video file. Add a video clip to the video track (or import your generated video via “Edit in Studio”) before exporting. (elevenlabs.io)
A clean way to generate your intro from only text
- Go to Playground > Image & Video, switch mode to Video, and pick a generative video model (e.g., Sora, Veo, Kling, Flux). Paste your prompt and Generate. References (Start frame, End frame, Image refs) are optional—use End frame to bias toward your logo if you want. (elevenlabs.io)
Plan notes
- Video generation requires a paid plan; your Creator plan qualifies. (elevenlabs.io)
- Exporting videos from Studio without a watermark requires Creator or higher (you’re covered). (elevenlabs.io)
Tip for your “Geezeption” logo
- If you want the final beat to reveal your logo, upload the logo as an End Frame reference when generating, or add the logo as an overlay in Studio’s video track before export. (elevenlabs.io)
If you still see an error after supplying the required files, check for general “missing required field” validation errors and re‑select the model/duration/aspect to reinitialize the form. (elevenlabs.io)

I no longer have any actions like duration/aspect because the general settings have changed/revamped (in the iOS app)
