#Can I choose original author voices as the default play out voice for readers?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
No. In ElevenReader you can’t pre-select or set a default “play out” voice for readers—even if it’s the original author’s voice. Each user selects their own narration voice in the app. If you want to guide listeners, you can add a note recommending a voice. Also note that ElevenReader exposes only a curated catalog of voices to listeners and does not make your own cloned/created voices available by default. (help.elevenlabs.io)

Can I edit the description to include more information without republishing?
Yes.
- ElevenReader Publishing: The book description is metadata and “can be updated anytime” without republishing. Only manuscript/text changes are restricted (allowed every 14 days) and will reset reader progress. (help.elevenlabs.io)
- Audio Native (if you meant the embedded player): You can change the player’s Title and Author in Project Settings > Export and those updates appear automatically without republishing; updating the actual audio requires exporting and publishing a new version. (help.elevenlabs.io)
