#Getting an error: Dubbing without a watermark is only available for Creator+ users. There is no op
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Short answer: the watermark toggle only exists for video dubs. Audio dubs can’t be watermarked, and creating audio dubs requires a Creator plan or higher—so on lower tiers you’ll see an error like the one you quoted.
What the docs say
- Watermarks are only available for video dubs; they don’t apply to audio. For videos, the watermark option exists to reduce credit usage. (help.elevenlabs.io)
- Audio dubbing requires a Creator plan or higher. (elevenlabs.io)
- Via API, the watermark flag is a boolean that only affects video output (parameter: watermark). (elevenlabs.io)
How to proceed
- If you uploaded an audio file: upgrade to Creator (or higher) to dub audio; there is no watermark option for audio, so the UI won’t show one. (elevenlabs.io)
- If you uploaded a video: create a new dub and select the watermarked option during creation (you’ll see pricing reflect “watermarked” vs “non‑watermarked”), or set watermark=true via the API. (help.elevenlabs.io)
If you’re still not seeing a watermark option on a video, please share whether you’re dubbing audio or video and which plan you’re on, and I can point you to the exact flow. (help.elevenlabs.io)
