#is it legal to port 11labs voices to other programs as long as the port isnt distributed? aka in ge

Short answer: Noâyou canât âportâ ElevenLabs voices/models to other programs, even if you donât distribute them. You may export and use the audio you generate, but not the underlying voice models.
Whatâs allowed
- Using exported audio output outside ElevenLabs (e.g., in video editors, DAWs), subject to the Terms and the Prohibited Use Policy. The Terms state ElevenLabs may let you download Output and youâre permitted to use such Output outside the Services, subject to the Terms/Policy. On free plans, public use requires attribution; paid plans include a commercial license. (elevenlabs.io)
Whatâs not allowed
- Exporting/porting voice clones or models for use in other software. âNo, you cannot export your voice clones, and they are only usable on ElevenLabs and not anywhere else.â (help.elevenlabs.io)
- Reverse engineering, model extraction/stealing, or creating derivative works of ElevenLabs services/models (e.g., attempting to recreate/port a voice model). These activities are expressly prohibited in the service-specific terms. (elevenlabs.io)
- Uploading/sharing AI-generated or AIâenhanced voices in the Voice Library; only humanâverified Professional Voice Clones may be shared. (help.elevenlabs.io)
- Creating and sharing a User Voice Model based on another personâs voice or an altered version of your voice (Voice Library Addendum). Unauthorized impersonation is also prohibited by the Prohibited Use Policy. (elevenlabs.io)
Does paying change this?
- Simply paying more does not waive these restrictions. If you want to use ElevenLabs voices in another app, do it via ElevenLabsâ API or an OEM/sublicensing arrangement under a written agreement; otherwise youâre not permitted to move or reproduce the models. (elevenlabs.io)
Enforcement/contacts
- ElevenLabs enforces its Prohibited Use Policy (including bans and referrals to law enforcement for serious violations). For custom licensing, contact the legal team. (elevenlabs.io)
If you need to integrate voices into another program, the compliant path is to call ElevenLabs from that program (API/OEM), not to extract or port the voices/models themselves. (elevenlabs.io)

no reverse engeneering here just making the samples then synthesizing like vocaloid/utau (concentative synthesis) like a jinriki UTAU, still not legal right đ btw i mean that i pay for the highest subscription (thats why i said if i give wads of cash) . also are the VP's for the voices signed an nda?
Short answer: still not allowed.
- Using ElevenLabs audio output to build any external voice model/voicebank (even non-ML, e.g., a concatenative Vocaloid/UTAU-style bank) is prohibited. The Prohibited Use Policy bans using âany part of our Services or their Outputâ to research/develop products, models, or services that compete with ElevenLabs, and also bans using Output as input for training ML or as part of datasets for developing/testing/improving AI tech. Plan tier doesnât change these restrictions. (elevenlabs.io)
- The Terms of Service say you may use downloaded Output outside the service only âsubject to these Terms and our Prohibited Use Policy.â Paying for a higher plan enables commercial use but does not grant rights to repurpose Output into another synthesis system or model. (elevenlabs.io)
- You also cannot export voice clones for use outside ElevenLabs. (help.elevenlabs.io)
If you want to integrate ElevenLabs voices in another product, that requires a separate agreement (e.g., OEM/Enterprise). (elevenlabs.io)
On NDAs for voice providers: ElevenLabs publicly documents the Voice Library program, payouts, notice periods, and sharing rules, but does not publish whether voice providers sign NDAs. I canât confirm NDA terms from public docs. (elevenlabs.io)
