#Are the ElevenReader books supposed to consume minutes? Not personal documents, but the books avail

Yes, listening to books available in the Explore tab of the ElevenReader app does consume minutes from your subscription. This applies to all content played within the app, including books from the Explore section. If you have further questions about your subscription or usage, you can check your Usage Analytics for a detailed breakdown.
Then why does it advertise "Listen without limits"?
The "Listen without limits" feature refers to the ability to listen to content without restrictions on the number of books or documents you can access, provided you have sufficient available usage minutes in your subscription plan. However, all content processed through ElevenReader, including books from the Explore tab, does consume usage minutes, as the text-to-speech generation requires processing time.
If you have further questions about your subscription or usage, you can check your Usage Analytics or visit the Subscription Page for details on your plan.
Just FYI, your site says, "Hours are only used when you convert your imported text"
Thank you for pointing that out! If you have any questions or concerns about how hours are used during text conversion, feel free to ask, and I’ll be happy to assist.
My concern is that hours should not be consumed if it's not text I imported, i.e. the content and ebooks on the Explore page
