#Is V3 available for Studeio?

Currently, the Eleven V3 (Alpha) model is not available in Studio. It is only accessible through the Text-to-Speech playground as part of an experimental research preview. The rollout to other features, including Studio, is gradual, but there is no specific timeframe for when it will be added.
For now, you can use the V3 model in the Text-to-Speech playground for shorter content and continue using the V2 model in Studio for larger projects like audiobooks.
My projects are not as large as audiobooks, they are just dialogues, 1-2 minutes long. What would you suggest to use for getting realistic, life-like dialogues - text to speech or studio?
For creating realistic, life-like dialogues that are 1-2 minutes long, you have two main options:
-
Text-to-Speech (TTS): This is a straightforward method where you generate each line of dialogue separately, selecting different voices for each character. It’s quick and effective for shorter content.
-
Studio: If you want more flexibility and control, the Studio feature is a better choice. It allows you to create a project, separate the dialogue into paragraphs for each speaker, and assign different voices. You can also regenerate specific sections without affecting the rest, which is useful for fine-tuning.
For your use case, Studio might be the better option since it provides more control over the flow and allows for adjustments, especially if you want to refine the dialogue to make it as realistic as possible.
But in Studio, I can't create laughter, sigh etc?
