Hi, experiencing critical latency issues with ConvAI that started recently:
Issue:
- 5-10 second delays getting the very first sentence from AI agent
- Once first sentence comes through, everything works normally
- Transcriptions work fine during the delay period
- No changes made on our end
Tested:
- Official ElevenLabs test page - same issue
- New agent from scratch with defaults - same issue
- Different prompts, models, voices - no improvement
- Removing "first message" makes it worse
Impact:
- North America customers experiencing poor call quality
- Business operations disrupted
Current Status:
- Still seeing 5-7 sec delays consistently
- Support ticket submitted but no response yet
- Need urgent resolution for business continuity
Has anyone else experienced this? Any workarounds while we wait for a fix?
