Voice Design voices that you have created and saved in My Voices can indeed be used in the Reader App. However, it's important to note that these voices may be of lower quality compared to other options.
The Reader App allows you to use several types of voices:
- Voices shared in the Voice Library (if the voice owner has permitted their use)
- Professional Voice Clones (for users on the Creator plan or above)
- Instant Voice Clones (for Starter plan and above)
- Voice Designed voices that you've created and saved
Keep in mind that while Voice Designed voices are available for use in the Reader App, they cannot be shared with other users. This limitation applies specifically to voices created through the Voice Design feature.
If you're looking for the highest quality experience, you might want to consider using voices from the Voice Library or Professional Voice Clones, as these tend to offer better performance and stability across different use cases.
Is the Voice design AI trained on African-American or United States southern accent? And what's a good prompt idea to get started with if I want this?
