To create a voice file for your video scripts using the same voice style, follow these steps:
-
Access Your Voice: Go to the Voice Library or My Voice section to locate the voice style you previously created.
-
Generate Speech: Navigate to the Voiceover Studio. Upload your new script and select the voice style you want to use. You can adjust settings like Stability and Style Exaggeration to fine-tune the output.
-
Download the Audio File: Once the voice file is generated, use the download button on the bottom right of the interface to save the MP3 file. Alternatively, you can find and download it from the "History" tab.
-
Upload to Adobe Character Maker: After downloading the MP3 file, you can upload it to Adobe Character Maker for your video project.

Can this be accomplished using the starter plan
Yes, this can be accomplished using the Starter plan. You can use the voice style you’ve created to generate audio files for your video scripts. The Starter plan allows you to store up to 10 custom voices, including designed voices, instant voice clones, and professional voice clones. You can reuse the same voice for multiple projects, as long as it remains within your saved voice slots.
To create another script using the same voice:
- Go to My Voices in your account.
- Select the voice you’ve already created and saved.
- Use the text-to-speech feature to input your new script and generate the audio file.
- Download the audio file and upload it to Adobe Character Maker.
If you encounter any issues or need more voice slots, you can delete unused voices or consider upgrading your plan. For more details on voice slots, you can refer to this article.
I tried that but it changed the voice to something different
To use the same voice style consistently for generating audio files, follow these steps:
-
Ensure the Correct Voice is Selected: When generating audio, make sure you are selecting the exact voice you created. You can verify this in the Voice Library or under the "My Voice" section.
-
Use the Projects Feature: The Projects feature in the Studio allows you to upload scripts and assign specific voices to each part of the text. This ensures the correct voice is used throughout your script.
-
Check Stability and Similarity Settings: Adjust the stability and similarity sliders in the voice settings. A balance between 40-60% for both is recommended to maintain consistency in the voice output.
-
Break Text into Smaller Sections: If your script is long, break it into smaller segments (under 800-900 characters). This helps maintain consistent voice quality and prevents degradation over longer audio generations.
-
Export Audio for Adobe Character Maker: Once the audio is generated, download the file and upload it to Adobe Character Maker.
Regarding the Starter Plan, it supports voice generation, but it has limitations on the number of characters and features available. If you find that the voice changes unexpectedly, ensure you are using the same voice and settings as before. If the issue persists, it may be worth considering upgrading to a higher plan for more advanced features and better control.
If the voice continues to change or you encounter issues, you can reach out to the support team for further assistance.
