#One of my projects is stuck in a "converting" state. how do I cancel it?

Unfortunately, there is no way to cancel a conversion directly from our end. However, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
-
Retry the Conversion: Close the project editor, reopen it, and attempt to start the conversion process again. If the project is large, it may take a few hours to complete.
-
Check for Common Issues:
- Ensure the "Normalize volume to meet audiobook standards" option is disabled.
- Avoid using very large paragraphs (limit them to 1,000–5,000 characters).
- Remove any special characters, long series of dots, or brackets that might cause issues.
-
Convert Paragraph by Paragraph: Use the Play button to convert individual paragraphs. This can help identify problematic sections. If you find one, delete and rewrite it or copy it directly from the original source.
-
Clear Cache or Use a Different Browser: Clear your browser cache (CTRL + F5), try using Incognito mode, or switch to another browser.
If the issue persists, please let us know how many credits were used for the project, and we can assist further, including issuing a refund if necessary.
I am unable to perform any new conversions within that project. I keep seeing a message that reads "This chapter is currently converting, so cannot convert the paragraph"
