Thank you so much for detailed report! I will add that to our issues list.
@ashen juniper could you share one of the epubs that's causing the problem?
I'll send you one, but actually it's very consistantly generic : every epub we import from our PC workstations fail, and the same epub, every time imports successfully on that one macbook we have. We found out it works on it, by trying every machine we have ๐
We use Sigil to author our epubs, and pass them through EpubCheck before upload attempts (https://github.com/w3c/epubcheck/releases)
There you go. A minimal epub we use for compatibility tests
NB : on the macbook, it works on different browsers (firefox, chrome) and with all our user profiles (...@bibliothequesonore.ch)
Hello ! Any hint about what may be going wrong and what we could try to work around it ? Thanks !
We will try to get you an update this week! Thanks for checking.
That would be a major positive change for our workflow ! Looking forward to check it ! How will we know, will you post here, or in the info channels ?
I'll post it here when we have any updates
@indigo wyvern trying my luck and asking you about any update ๐ ?
Hey sorry for the delay,
I wanted to test on a Windows machine and had to dig through boxes to find my old laptop, found it, tested with your file and it works... So I'm back to square one. But I did send the file to myself through Google Drive, so maybe it changed some metadata hmm... Ok I might have a clue how to fix it but not sure yet how to reproduce it.
Oh nice, it failed on Firefox.
@ashen juniper can you try? We've released a fix that might help with this.
Sorry for the delay, I can't get discord to send me notification ๐
Your fix worked !!! Thank you, that will make things so much easier !
What was the problem ? We're so surprised that all our Windows workstations were affected, but to not hear any report from other users ?
