I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with creating your voice clone. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot:
-
Check the quality of your audio samples: The quality of the audio samples you provide is crucial. Make sure your audio is clear, without any reverb, artifacts, or background noise. The AI will attempt to mimic everything it hears in the audio, including noise and artifacts which can confuse it. The ideal audio volume should be between -23 dB and -18 dB RMS with a true peak of -3 dB.
-
Ensure consistency in your audio samples: The AI needs consistency in the voice samples to create a proper clone. If there is too much variance in tone or performance, it might confuse the AI, leading to more varied output between generations.
-
Check the length of your audio samples: While the quality of the audio is more important, the length of the audio also plays a role. At a minimum, input audio should be 1 minute long. Avoid adding beyond 3 minutes; this will yield little improvement and can, in some cases, even be detrimental to the clone, making it more unstable.
-
Verify your voice: Once everything is recorded and uploaded, you will be asked to verify your voice. Try to verify your voice using the same or similar equipment used to record the samples and in a tone and delivery that is similar to what was present in the samples.
If you've checked all these points and you're still having trouble, it might be that your voice clone is delayed or has failed. If it's delayed, it will automatically retry periodically and attempt to clone again. You do not have to take any action, as all of this will be automatic. However, if your voice has already been tried multiple times and AI still cannot clone the data that you provided, you might need to delete the voice and upload the data again, starting from the beginning.
Remember, the AI will try to clone everything in the audio, but for the AI to work optimally and predictably, it's best to follow the guidelines mentioned above.
thanks forr answer. How can I delete my voice and reload the data?
To delete a voice from My Voices, follow these steps:
- Find the voice in the list of voices.
- Select it to open up the detailed view.
- Click the three dots icon at the bottom.
- Select 'Delete'.
Please note that if you delete a voice that you've created, there is no way to restore it. If you delete a voice that you've saved from the Voice Library that is no longer shared, you will not be able to save it to My Voices again in the future. Unverified Professional Voice Clones cannot be deleted. If you need help with this, please contact Support.
After deleting the voice, you can upload the data again and start from the beginning. This has been shown to help some users. The ideal approach would probably be to review your datasets and see if you can use different data to hopefully clone your voice since uploading the same data might work, but it might also be the reason why the AI is having issues to begin with.
I cant find or see the three dots icon at the bottom, please help me
If you're having trouble finding the three dots icon to delete a voice, here are the steps you can follow:
- Navigate to My Voices and find the voice you want to delete in the list.
- Select the voice to open up the detailed view.
The three dots icon should be located at the bottom of this detailed view. If you're still unable to find it, it might be a technical issue and I would recommend contacting Support here for further assistance.
