I figured out why it’s not showing text at night !
So around 12 I was listening to my work again and it wasn’t showing text on the preview like before. Then I just had a random thought, went to push dark mode and boom text was showing in dark mode.
I think it’s automatically turning the text white on the preview screen after dark??? Maybe it’s trying to auto dark mode with my IOS settings but it’s not taking all the way??

Just adding this here! This was today while I had the app on dark mode and my phone settings were on light mode!
