I bet this is one of the more bizarre issues you've seen but it's real.
I am slated to speak at a big AI conference and my voice is totally shot. The reason is a really bad viral bronchitis that has had me coughing like crazy for a week now.
Instead of canceling my speaking gig I decided it could be really cool to use AI to clone my voice and do the presentation with that voice!
So I grabbed a large amount of recorded audio of myself from various videos I've posted and put them all into a file. I signed up for the plan that allows professional voice cloning just for this.
After uploading my audio I have to "verify" that it's really me but because my voice is completely shot I keep failing the verification.
This is insanely frustrating, to say the least.
I already filed a ticket hoping someone will help me but I thought I'd post here as well.
I'm happy to provide ID, links to my videos, whatever it takes to show that this voice is really my voice and I'm not trying to impersonate someone.
