i just bought a uk server for soul mask, im trying to log onto it after trying to change the name to find it easier, its not stuck in a constant stopping loop, any advice please, its for pc

i have help form the website but its stressful, a never ending stopping loop when i just want to change settings, add a password, is it always this slow to shut down or is that a website error, granted this is my first server but im already questioning the servers in themselves (no disrespect to the owners or anything like that) i just don't want to have to reach out to support any time i want to change settings because the server i have goes into a constant stopping loop

i feel like setting up the server, password and desired settings should happen before the server go online, sorry to be a stress person but that feels like basics
