Here's the recommended fix for the current issue:
-# Provided by @glad dust
The issue is caused by the steamclient being outdated. The fix is simple: replace it with an updated version.
## Linux
Delete the old `steamclient.so`.
Copy the new `steamclient.so` into both:
`/serverfiles/`
`/linux64/`
## Windows
Delete the old `steamclient.dll`, `steamclient64.dll`, `tier0_s.dll`, `tier0_s64.dll`, `vstdlib_s.dll`, and `vstdlib_s64.dll`.
Copy the new ones into:
`\serverfiles\`
## Where do you get the updated files?
The files are uploaded alongside this message, simply download the ones needed for your server OS. Alternatively, you can download them manually by using [SteamCMD](https://pzwiki.net/wiki/SteamCMD). Then grabbing the files from the SteamCMD folder:
- Linux:
steamcmd/
└── linux64/
└── steamclient.so
- Windows:
steamcmd/
├── steamclient.dll
├── steamclient64.dll
├── tier0_s.dll
├── tier0_s64.dll
├── vstdlib_s.dll
└── vstdlib_s64.dll
Copy and paste them into the correct folders and your problem should be solved.

I’m not sure if you have full file access on the GPORTAL Dashboard to upload or replace system-level files for this specific game but if you do, here’s how to apply the current mod download fix:
The issue is caused by an outdated steamclient.so. You’ll need to replace it with a newer version.
- Delete the old
steamclient.so - Upload the new one into both:
/serverfiles//linux64/
You can get the updatedsteamclient.soby:
- Installing SteamCMD locally on your computer then pulling it from:
steamcmd/linux64/steamclient.so
If you don’t see those folders or can’t upload the file via FileZilla, you’ll need to contact GPORTAL support and request that they apply this fix for you.
⚠️ Heads-up about GPORTAL ticket delays:
"Hey everyone, we're currently experiencing a high volume of tickets in the EU region. We totally understand that waiting for a reply can be frustrating – please know that we're doing our best to handle all requests as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
We kindly ask you not to send multiple messages in a row within your existing ticket, as this causes it to be marked as 'new' and moves it to the top of the queue again, which increases the waiting time."
So once you send your ticket, give them some time to respond and avoid replying again unless necessary.
Let me know if you want the steamclient.so zipped and uploaded here.

This is still an issue. Can someone update the steamclient.io for pz servers?
