Today I rented a server and went into the serverconfig.xml to turn on crossplay.
It still isn't visible for friends on console.

Please help

after doing some research, i found out that crossplay isnt enabled on dedicated servers. id like to request a refund for the 90 days server rental. once dedicated serves have crossplay enabled. i will definitely rent the server again.
