Does CollectionObjectRespawnSpeedRate control the rate of Nodes like ore and Tree ? If so is lower number faster or slower i want them to come back a little bit faster then they do right now

Are you sure. I asked in another discord about it as i was not sure when i would get a reply to what i asked. I was told at in this case the lower is faster, I confused.

I was always under the impression higher is faster. The best way to confirm is to test yourself just to make sure.

No. It is a direct multiplier. Lower numbers are faster. Objects only check for respawn time setting when they pop into existence -- any existing objects or destroyed objects will still use their remembered respawn time until they reappear.
re: X seconds default respawn time * respawnrate. 0.5 is twice as fast, 2x is twice as long. this is what i was told. But yea i did test it out and it seems going 0.5 made it faster to come back

No -- that one is how you'd expect -- higher is more.

because it's not a time multiplier. 60 seconds * 2 rate is longer. 10% * 2 rate is 20%.

So Lower is only better for time Multipliers

let me know what you find out. I have mine set to 0.5. to have more then one player test it will give better data feed back

Just a update use a stop watch app on the ore. 0.5 it took 15 mins 24 secs. I then down it down to 0.2 and time it and it come back in 1min and 5 secs

So for me the lower numbers speed up the time.

what the server setting say here is not clear and miss leading

Nomal player would not know higher is slow and lower is high. i asked to ask lol

Also 0.3 Timer respawn is 9 mins in game for it to pop back up

I have a lot of friend who play that i never got in to it. I was playing day z when they were playing rust

lol yeah i felt that for a bit i wasn’t able to get into rust thought it was to complicated then i just forced my self and here i am today still playing rust 2 years later
