Hi, trying to move my coop map over to dedicated, currently the map transfered over fine, but we all have to make new characters. I know I will have to since i was the host, but is there something special I have to do to tie their characters to their accounts or something?

and the character files are 2 seperate ones
so you gotta find your player files as well and put them into your game folder

Yeah we did that, we can see the characters in the player file
but when we join it just makes new players

so my first guess would be
that there might be something missing
that the game needs to make it work
i dunno if you can just upload your whole folder to the server though
i would say google for an answer but the game is fairly new and when i searched for answers it was quite a hassle

i only saw that the game got player files and world files
wen i played on release day on a friend server
for some reason when we logged out and back in at some point
our player files were rolled back
and we didn't own our buildings anymore
so yeah
my best guess would be just trying to upload the whole folder although that would take a while

depending on how far you got into the game you could obviously think about just restarting
