First thing you should try is to remove anything from your drops that has a high stack size. With Ark, all items are counted even if they are in a stack. So, for example, if you have a stack of 5k of something in a drop, Ark still has to calculate that 5,000 times.

This may not be the issue at all, but it's a common reason. You can start by trying that and then see if it works better.

Are you using Beacon?

Another thing that can cause issues is too many dinos spawning at one time. If you have edited dino spawns, that can also cause problems.

You can try doing a wild dino wipe and see if the server runs better for a few minutes.
