how do I reset my map seed

I put in a map seed thats not working so i just want to reset it to default should i just leave it blank or should i try another seed? I dont want to have to wait 20 minutes to see if the seed works or not

you are most likely trying to set seeds that are not supported in console, the ones in the presets work.

Are you using a map size under 3k? Because I noticed when I attempted to exceed that, it wouldn't allow my map seed to work when done on a fresh wipe. You should either use the presets or click the no preset and add your desired monuments.

So if i select a preset it will negate the seed? Because i just have the seed blank right now and when i select a preset it doesnt put in a seed

But they won't change to a smaller map even u changed the settings to 2.5k map

I think you have to remove a seed number. But, I'm no expert on Rust. I can't help much.

The lowest it will go is 1 but the maps have stayed the same
