With every update adding more buildings and resources, the necessity to expand backpack capacity and increase stack limits becomes more pressing.
As zombies grow increasingly aggressive on the hardest difficulty, the demand for food and defensive materials — such as wooden planks and meat — rises sharply.
Overall, stack limits for building resources should be increased from 4 to 6 or 4 to 5, and for food items — from 2 to 4 or 2 to 3.

And ammo capacity as well!

and it would be even cooler if this increasement would be part of a character building system. Like you have someone with additional carrying capacity? This guys capacity can be improved! "Can carry +2 items per stack" or smth

but it has to be somehow earned: Character X went out 20 times? > More agility. Character has killed X zombies? > +10% strength with used weapon type. Character has retrieved X amount of items? +10% carrying capacity

+1. Will say I think if backpack upgrades are going to be added then the amount of slots added should be limited (like 2 at a time). Stack increases for certain types of items and separate slots for weapons and throwables would be interesting.
