I'd like to suggest automation of survivors' actions in the shelter. For example, the ability to grow food, cook it, and share it among survivors. A scouting system where survivors would be tasked with finding specific types of resources. Otherwise, all these manual actions become boring over time. The ability to create replenishable food sources, for example. And I'd like this to be more tailored to each character in the game, with specific stats developed. For example, more effective zombie elimination, construction, cooking, and so on. And yes, this may be a bit off topic, but melee weapons break too quickly, especially axes. I'd like them to have more acceptable durability.
#Automation of actions in the game

I feel automation of characters using up core resources (like base materials or food) shouldn't be done unless that character has all needs at low. Same with survivors randomly going out for scavenging, feel like that'll cause frustration. Automated actions I feel should only pertain to activities, general maintenance (with few base resources being used up) or interactions they do in the shelter.
Skill and progression systems for characters are gonna be added in due time, so maybe that'll address the whole "specific stats" point.
I think the weapon durability is good as is, but the devs always have time to change this up (though I would hope they don't nerf it).
Whenever games like this have the ability for things to be automically done it pretty much always results in things that I don't want being done, and then me pulling my hair out because I was trying to specifically save resources for something big. So I'd rather not
Friends, I agree with you. But I'd like to be able to take each character to eat or sleep by hand every time. Plus, looting food just gets boring after a while. In this regard, the developers of State of Decay did a great job and have some experience with this topic. Plus, the amount of time it takes—it takes almost a day to craft the same soup or shiv—the crafting time needs to be shortened.
And this game is not state of decay. Do you suggest the devs call them up and ask for advice?
